Costas Koutsoftides completed his studies in the school of architecture in Strasbourg 1976-1984.

Koutsoftides architects was established in 1985.

In 1987 he represented Cyprus in the Barcelona Biennale of Young artists in the fields of architecture and industrial design.

In 1992 the practice  vigorously got involved in local competitions and since then lots of awards and prices were granted,including the 1998 State award for best Architect under 40 and a nomination for the Mies van de Rohe awards for the Municipality of Ay.Athanasios Town Hall.

In 2007 academic year was an external collaborator-assistant to the studio of the school of Architecture of the University of Cyprus.In 2014 and 2015 Costas was teaching studio synthesis at the University of Neapolis in Paphos.
